where is the z button at?

I downloaded the emulator yeasterday and i love it but im having one problem. Where is the z button located at? I keep seeing videos of it being in the top left corner but on mine its like an L. I am using an htc evo 3d. Also is there anyway to have the directonal and analog controllers on the screen at the same time? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me

Go to the Setting then "input settings" and "Virtual keyboard settings" set the "L/R always at corners" to off. Also some games will show Z and some games will show L I think it depends on the game in some cases.

In my opinion (and that's what I do with my HTC Sensation), for games that require Z a lot, like Goldeneye, it's easier to play by setting Z to an hardware button:
-the camera button for those who have one
-the volume up button in my case since it's all I have on my Sensation (no camera button, just volume and power)

....while waiting for movable onscreen buttons, that makes games easier to play
