Is where you can find most. You can probably find more by googling.
You place the folder containing the textures in sdcard\.n64oid\hires_textures
So if you download some Super Smash Bros Textures you place them there and it would look like:
sdcard\.n64oid\hires_textures\SMASH BROTHERS\
or whatever name of the folder is when you download it.
My favorite Star Fox 64 texture pack, Lylat Reloaded, can be downloaded here:

So I need to unzip folder and put all texture folders in a folder with the same name as rom file. Am I correct. Then the emulator will automatically load the texture pack if I have it checked in settings?

Djipi's Cel Mod For OoT
I tried adding the Cell Mod by Djipi for OoT...
No success...
What I did:
1. Downloaded "Djipi Final Cell Pack" (Cant post link, but google it and you'll find at the top)
2. Created a new folder under mnt/sdcard/.n64oid/hires_texture that I named "Legend of Zelda, The - Ocarina of Time (USA)
3. Unzipped the rar file that I downloaded in the new folder that I created
4. Start N64oid, choose the rom "Legend of Zelda, The - Ocarin of Time (USA)
5. Settings > Enginge Settings > Checked the box to enable external textures.
6. Back to game and inevitable orgasm... not.
Anything I did wrong?
Edit: Just tried same thing with another pack, Federelli's Zelda OOT and MQ retexture v. 0.20 WIP. No go.
Tried both packs with both EU and US roms allso. No go.
No success...

You have to extract your Zelda OOT hires texture pack into mnt/sdcard/.n64oid/hires_texture/THE LEGEND OF ZELDA.
N64oid crashed everytime I tried Djipi's Cell Mod on my galaxy s2.
Could you tell me if it crash for you too.

same file name
Make sure the rom file and texture pack folder have the exact same file name... I just changed both file names to Zelda... I got it to work but with a .7z rom but couldn't get it to work with a .zip file rom.... the developers need to post a tutorial or something Plz. U can't just release a feature like this and not give a tutorial... I had to learn how to do this by going the the trusty XDA forums.

Re: texture packs? where how?
.7z Is a compression format. Like .zip.
I keep all my roms out of .zips and .7zs because I have plenty of space on my SD card and it makes things faster.

Re: texture packs? where how?
Hirrs texture pack is working, but cel mod crashes after a while when played with european rom, crashes allmost instantly when played with american rom.
Edit: I allso use Galaxy SII btw.

Re: texture packs? where how?
In what way is it logical that the folder should be named "LEGEND OF ZELDA" when the rom is called "Legend of Zelda, The - Ocarina of Time (E) [!].z64"?
Just to be clear it's the real name which matters and not the ROM name, there's a tool which allows to view ROM properties which is named Tool64, try googling it if you want to give a try, because I'm not allowed to post link for the moment.
-Open Tool64
-Open your ROM's directory
-Right click on a ROM and select ROM properties.
-Look at the 'Rom Name' value, that's what matters in your case.

Re: texture packs? where how?
Sorry for double posting..
I'm just so used to ppl being... not so good at replying.. Maximising my chances to get fast answer.. Wont happen again... here :p
Anyways, as I said in the other thread as well... Not being sarcastic.. It did the trick, and I want to know WHY it did.. Doesn't make sense to me..
How come my hires texture pack works with both ocarina of time and master quest at the same time without having to rename the folder? The rom names are definitely not the same...
Just want to know what determines wich packs will be used with the selected rom.. Otherwise it would be very hard to match up other texture packs with other game roms...
Again, sorry for double post and all that... but I was not being sarcastic at all.. It works, and I would like to know why it worked because I can't get my head round it :p
Edit: Another message was posted while I wrote this, anwsering my questions
Thanks, and +1 from me as well ^_^

Re: texture packs? where how?
I got the Ocarina of Time community hi res pack loaded, thanks to this thread. It works, and it does look cool, but I definitely get a lot of lag, even on my Samsung Galaxy Sii which as far I know is one of the most powerful phones out there right now. I turned frame skipping to max, but still get some lag.
I'm not sure that these big hi res packs are possible on phones right now - even a lot of people's computers can't run them. I'll try to find a smaller pack, or just go back to the stock textures.
But anyway, it does work, which is cool. I will be interested to test this out with other games.

Re: texture packs? where how?
Well, I have textures working great for Mario, Starfox and F-zero, but have no luck for Zelda OOT.
I've tried 3 different packs, same result: starting the game means black screen, and finally force close, or for one of this pack, I had not a single change ingame...
I've verified that the name of the folder matches the real name of my ROM, and that this ROM is compatible with the texture packs I've tried....
Can someone provide me a link to a Zelda OOT texture pack that he has downloaded there, tried, and got working?

This is the one I'm using:
n64redux. com/content/ocarina-time-community-retexture-project
It takes a few minutes to load, during which the screen is black. Note my comments about lag above - this is a big pack and makes this run slower. Also, not every texture has been redone - it's a work in progress I think.

Re: texture packs? where how?
Thanks!
You're right, it takes some minutes to load, I had to cancel 2 Force Close to see the game start.
Strange, it's smoother than expected, but only half of the textures for the sky are displayed (when all the other textures are here)
